The incredible Over The Edge swing offers death-defying action from the safety of a harness high above the famous capital city.
Adrenaline junkies will be lining up for the highest swing in Europe as it towers 330ft in the sky over Amsterdam.
Over the Edge has four seats and flies high in the sky, offering riders a chance to experience what it’s like to have Amsterdam under their feet.
Secured by restraints, visitors can swing across the edge of the A’DAM watchtower and feel their heart rates quicken .
The swings are hydraulically driven and offer a chance to enjoy an unparalleled view of the city, while the adrenaline courses through your veins.
Opened on August 25, the swing has already become a must-see in the tourist-friendly city.
One tweeter summed it up with a message reading: “Wow! That seems scary to me and fantastic at the same time.”
Another added that it was “for people who are not scared – so I pulled out!”
The swing is at the edge of the A’DAM Tower – the former Shell Tower on the north bank of the IJ, the city’s waterfront – which opened last May and has already welcomed more than 100,000 visitors.
The A’DAM Tower is also home to several restaurants, a club and a hotel, as well as the offices of companies within the music industry.
A’DAM lookout is on the top two floors of the tower with an indoor and outdoor observation deck offering a stunning 360 degree view of the city.
A’DAM lookout is open daily from 10am until 10pm. Tickets cost €12.50. Visitors who want to swing need a separate ticket for Over the Edge costing €5.
